St Vincent is a Saint from France who worked tirelessly for the emancipation
of humankind by educating caring and guiding in virtue. Although he is a saint of 16th
century, still his charitable educational activities imbued with the love of God have
always been a great source of inspiration to us, depaulians.
The five virtues that he advocated to his followers are simplicity, humility, meekness,
mortification of senses and zeal for souls. These are like five shining stones to
counter the evil one-selfishness, pride and lust. His message very well rings the bell
in today’s present age.
“The true knowledge liberates one to become a renewed enlightened responsible
citizen of tomorrow.”
Our Patron
ST Vincent de Paul is our school patron and a source of
great inspiration. We draw great spiritual strength from the person and teachings of Jesus
Christ.
